Use Threshold & Alert on Failure for Backups that delay sending emails

Some products like Veeam do not send reports daily for backups like a continuous backup or there is a delay in sending reports. 


To handle these backups you would want to use a few settings in conjunction: 

For this case we will assume the following: 

Your backup has a report being send a day after the backups ran and you do not want to see a no result status but do want to be alerted if a failure occurs. 


The settings below will keep the backup in a warning status using the threshold. Alert on failure will allow us to get a ticket or email alert or show the backup as a failure if the result comes through as a failure before the threshold is met.
